I found this shampoo when my boyfriend jokingly (he thought) said "I love the smell of pumpkin pie, I wish there was a shampoo that smelled as good" Voila! I check Amazon and find it. His wish is granted. He loves it (so do I, I sneaked a shot for a shampoo)

Awesome
I received this shampoo as a sample and couldn't wait to buy the entire line. Not only does it smell fantastic, it really does work. My hair is beautiful and feels so much stronger and healthier. The real proof though that it works is that *I* can skip a day of conditioner and just use the shampoo, and I have always had to use a conditioner to even think about pulling a comb through my hair.

I really love this shampoo. I am 40ish and have shoulder length black hair. My hair is very straight but can be coarse at times. I have so many problems with shampoos and conditioners. The ones that make your hair look full, dry out my hair. The ones that make my hair look silky, weigh my hair down. I feel like goldylocks, this one is just right!! It is so perfect. My hair feels so silky and it is not weighed down at all. I use the conditioner, but FYI just on the ends of my hair. It is so shiney and I feel like a little girl again. I totally recommend this. And the smell is so heavenly, so clean and lemony, but not like kitchen lemon. Like a lemon cookie. Really I just love this stuff.

Best Shampoo I've Ever Used!!
I've struggled with dry hair all my life. A friend told me about Philosophy's Shear Splendor shampoo one day, probably tired of my constant complaints, and I looked it up on Amazon. At the price, I figured it was worth a shot. Desperate for relief, I paid for second day delivery, and it arrived as advertised. I hurried to the shower while ripping off the packaging, tossing the box and invoice papers to the floor.

I wet my hair as indicated in the directions and unscrewed the top of the bottle. The smell enveloped me. I moved the bottle closer to my face, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath. When I opened my eyes again, I was no longer in my shower, but an undersea kingdom. A young mermaid swam by in a panic. Following her were horrible creatures, half-shark/half-goat, with spears. Not knowing what to do, I swam with the young mermaid away from the creatures.

After what seemed like miles, we hid in a field of algae and seaweed. Unable to communicate, her speaking mermish and me underwater, we sat there for hours in awkward silence. Once it was safe to go out into the open, she led me to a sunken ocean liner. Through a hole in the hull, she showed me the secret passage to an under-undersea city. Swimming the streets for a short time, she took me into a small inn. After securing two rooms, she pointed me to my bed, which was nothing more than a strap on the floor to keep me from washing away in the night. I thought about the day and what adventures tomorrow could bring for an hour or so before falling asleep.

When I came to in the hospital several days later, my hair was as smoother and richer than it's ever been. Thanks, Philosophy!

Terrible Product
First let me say ...If there is a Shampoo, Conditioner, Moisturiser etc...I have either tried it or I am about to. My bathroom is stocked!
I have processed normal/fine textured hair that is on the dry side. Due to blow drying and using a curling or flat iron, my hair needed help. This product sounded perfect for my hair. Instead it was a disaster! My hair seemed flat and dryer. Just plain gross. The company was very cooperative in returning my money.
Ps...I also had a scalp reaction (dry, itchy etc )

To greasy
I had color treated hair that is basically normal, so I thought well maybe it(shampoo & conditioner) would improve my hair in some way. So I tried it and oh my I looked like a grease pit. My hair was flat and lifeless. I wash my hair every other day and that second day was even worse. I looked liked I had not washed my hair in days! I couldn't even style it as usual cause it was so flat and greasy. The next time I even used the conditioner just on the ends and still just as bad. This must be for severly dry hair that needs moisture. It definately didn't work for me!

My holy grail shampoo!
As I mentioned in my review of the complimenting conditioner my husband brought home samples from a trip, always enjoying trying new things (and never being satisfied with my shampoo choices) I decided to try it out.

The scent is unique, but in a good way... a very clean fresh type of scent that grows on you the more you use it. I was surprised at the lack of lather I had, I'm used to really having a head full of suds while this produced hardly any. I was expecting my hair to still feel dirty or dry after using it (I have colored straight hair which I frequently blow dry or straight iron and normally use heavy conditioning shampoos). I rinsed it out and my hair felt light and clean, no residue from styling products or the shampoo. I finished off with the conditioner.

I couldn't believe how soft, shiny, and full my hair was! The slight lingering scent was an added bonus (my husband loves it too). I've learned that you really don't need to use much at all in the shower, and once you get over thinking you should have a head full of suds you'll find that less works just as well as more.

Great shampoo that I hope they never discontinue. I've tossed my collection of other brands, my shower looks cleaner... and so does my hair!

this product is advertised as "natural" but is far from it.
you cannot that from the website, but once you order the product and see the ingredients label, you find out that it has methyl and propyl parabens--among others-- just like most other regular shampoo products.

I heard about this shampoo from my favorite morning show, so I had to try it. I've tried so many shampoos trying to find ONE that leaves my hair soft, clean, and doesn't cause itching, but couldn't seem to find anything close.

The first time I used the Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo, I felt a nice cool and tingle sensation. I wasn't crazy about the smell at first (menthy), but after my hair dried, it smelled very clean and fresh (according to my bf). It truly leaves your hair much softer. Only downfall is the design of the bottle; the shampoo is very concentrated and the bottle stiff, so squeezing the shampoo out is a small task. :) And I sure do wish they sold this stuff locally; although, I did find a promo code to get 10% off, so bought it for .60 to make up for the shipping cost. I also purchased the "Hair Repair Seaweed Masque" as a conditioner, and it also works wonders!

Oh! And ladies, they have a limited edition cologne I bought for my bf, and it is so nice! It's called Black Ice. It's limited, so I stocked up on a few bottles for future holidays. ;)

We're addicted to this product
I discovered this product on a Disney Cruise. It's hard to find a mainstream product that also works on permed African American hair. After we returned I bought a bottle but my kids kept borrowing it so I purchased a full set for each for Xmas to keep the peace. Very concentrated - lasts a long time. Leaves their hair soft, shiny and manageable and I love the smell. It's well worth the price and we're addicted to both the shampoo and the conditioner.

I used this shampoo for the first time when I stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland, California. I really liked the way it smelled in the shower (like a combination of eucalyptus and spearmint) and the fact that it didn't take very much of it to clean my hair. Once I got home I visited the H2O Plus store in San Francisco near Union Square and purchased a few bottles of it. Ever since I started to use this shampoo, my hair has felt softer, it looks shinier and it is more manageable. It works even better when used in combination with the Sea Marine Revitalizing Conditioner.

Product really works! A+
This revives my hair if it has too much product build-up. I use it as a quick pick-up if I'm running out the door. I definitely recommend this. It's especially good if you just have a little bit of build-up or oil at the roots. Just brush this through and you're good to go!

Works well
Bottle was smaller than I expected, but the product works well and is easy to use. I have dark hair and the white powder is not a problem. You just put it on at the roots and rub it in, then brush it out.

I only gave it four stars because I'd like a little larger bottle for the price. But then again, the powder does last longer than an aerosol would, and it is easy to direct it just where you need it. I will definitely buy this again.

Nice stuff; better than most
I ordered Blandi and the Klorane dry shampoo spray to help preserve the color in my hair. I prefer the Blandi much more than the Klorane (and far more than Pssst). Blandi does a more thorough cleaning job, smells better (pleasantly lemony), is gentler on my scalp, makes my (wavy) hair fluffy, and keeps my hair cleaner for a much longer time.

Blandi is a super-fine rice powder product that you apply close to the roots, rub around then brush out. So, regardless of how much you brush, you are going to have some small powdery residue, but its perceivable only by you. And I kind of find that the slight residue continues to absorb oil through the day, allowing you to brush & clean more later.

Nothing beats a bona fide wet shampoo, but to make color last, to save time, and to avoid the dreaded oily hair smell and look, this stuff fits the bill very nicely. There's enough product in the bottle to last a few weeks of consistent use, too.

Love it
I love this product. The lemon smell goes away very quickly but it doesnt smell bad anyway. I could probably go 2 days without washing my hair (but I wont).Anyway I love it but I wish the price would come down a bit. P.S. I still love old faithful PSSSST too.

Gross!
I just had to jump in the shower to wash the dry shampoo out, which more or less negates its purpose. I have dark red hair, and it made me look as though I was going grey at the roots. Even though I used a very small amount, no amount of brushing improved the look. Plus, it smells like flea dip! Gross.

I like how it lathers and it makes it feel easier to run my fingers through my hair. Smells very pleasant and nice purple color.
